Goetta Going

This weekend I went to Goetta Fest in Covington with Noah. I slept for a while in my favorite position - mommy calls it Buddha baby. Unfortunately, I was a little tired, hungry and cranky and started rivaling the music with my crying. On Saturday, grandma and grandpa babysat and Sunday, Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelly did. I met my cousin Bo and realized that he is a little bigger than brother (and a drools a little more too). Thank goodness so many people are willing to spend time with me!

The Littlest Colonel

I visited Centre College - where mommy and daddy first met. It was fun because I got the campus tour and got to meet mommy's friends. First there were her GSP friends who loved taking turns holding me. Thanks Annie, Lauren and Carter! Then I had my first flame run with the help of Uncle Roy Lee - don't worry all clothes stayed on! Then I met one of mommy's sorority sisters, Sarah, and two of her favorite scholars from last summer - Jane & Lauren. Finally, we had lunch with Amy D - thanks for treating us. When I got home brother was sure happy to see me!

My First Roadtrip

Mommy and I hit the road on Tuesday. Our first stop was great-grandma Kleier's to eat lunch and then it was off to Danville for mommy's GSP (Governor Scholars Program) reunion. I got to see Granny for the first time in a few weeks. She must have been saving up all her kisses for me because they seemed to NEVER stop. Mommy also learned that I was quite high maintenance and travel with me required lots of luggage!

Making a First Impression

Hey Guys -
Sorry it's been so long. I have been really busy! After I gave daddy the hedger for Fathers Day I had another surprise. I wanted to make imprints of my hand and foot so he would always remember how small I was on his first Fathers Day. Little did I know that mommy and daddy would make the activity so messy! Thank goodness it was bath night and they got most of the black ink of me.

My First Fathers Day

This weekend I was quite busy. I thought I was going to Kings Island on Friday with daddy's firm but the weather was bad so I stayed in with mommy, brother and my bouncy seat. There was plenty of work to do anyway with Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelly's Shower coming up, not to mention getting ready for Fathers' Day. Mommy and I got daddy a hedge trimmer (with Grandpa Kuhnhein's help of course). Then everyone held me at the shower, including great grandmother Kuhnhein. They all said I was so cute and they are right! Noah was there too so we got to see each other. Finally, I spent lots of quality with daddy on Sunday. Happy Fathers' Day everyone - I hope you are as lucky as me to have such a loving and caring dad!

Older & Wiser

I turned one month old on Sunday. Hard to believe I am already that old! I got to spend the day with daddy, grandma and grandpa Kuhnhein while mommy went to Highlands graduation to see her students. The weather has been hot so I have been wearing some of my summer clothes. Do you like my green outfit? It even has a pineapple on my bottom! What about my oneise? It says "50% Mommy, 50% Daddy, 100% Cute". I think the equation is more like 25% Mommy and 75% Daddy - Hopefully, I will outgrow that! Check out my dance moves. Pretty good huh?

What's Up Doc!

I went to the doctor for my one month check-up and everything looks good. I am now 9lbs 2oz. I have gained 1 lb 4 oz since I was born. That weight puts me in the 50th percentile. I have also grown 3/4 of an inch so I am now 21 3/4 inches with a 14 inch head. All of those measurements put me in the 75th percentile. It looks like I am going to be tall - like dad! I got a Hep B shot and man did that sting. I heard the doctor talking and she said there are more shots coming at my next visit. I am not looking forward to that!

Social Butterfly

On Friday night we visited Michael and Maggie for dinner - everyone held me, even Michael - who didn't drop me! He thought I was flirting, but don't tell him, I was only smiling because I had gas. Then Saturday night we went to a shower for Michael & Maggie. Everyone thought I was so cute and I loved it! Since I worked up a sweat with all my socializing, Sunday night was my first real bath and you can see that mommy survived.
