I'm a Big Girl!

So I am growing up more everyday. I still like playing on my playmat and reaching for all my toys. I kinda of rolled over on it too. I am sleeping in my crib in the nursery now, leaving mommy and daddy's room. Finally, I like to sit up on the couch and see what everybody else is doing. All this and I am not even three months old yet!

Two Month Pictures

I got my two month pictures done a couple of weeks ago. They turned out pretty cute - what can I say? The camera loves me. Now that mommy knows how to post them, she will update the blog each month with my new pictures. You can even order some if you are interested. Just let mommy know and she will send you an email with all the information. I am already picking out my outfits for next month and getting ready for my close-up. Say Cheese!

My Time in Tennessee

I enjoyed my weekend in the country when I went home with mommy to Tennessee. It was nice to sit on the front porch - in Poppa's arm or the bouncy seat. It was tiring visiting with everyone so I made sure to get lots of rest. I even met all of mommy's friends at the engagement party for Stacy & Rick, including Brian & Heather's son, Isaac. He is younger than me, but I have to keep all my options open!

Meeting the Family

Mommy finally got the pictures from Tennessee and now you can see all of the family members I got to see on our trip. I met Uncle Jack and Aunt Joy - I wasn't quite sure what to think of him at first - he doesn't have a lot of baby experience. I spent time with my great aunts, Great Aunt Jackie is holding me here and I spent most of Saturday sleeping on Great Aunt Sue. Finally, I got to spent more time with Poppa Hewett and even met Chief, another terrier besides Brother, who seemed a little curious about me.

Express Yourself

I am smiling now and starting to show many different expressions. Mommy and daddy do everything to make me do it - sing, make faces, dance and act silly - but I only do it when I want to (Although it is funny to watch them make fools of themselves!).

Sleeping Beauty

I love to sleep and I can do it just about anywhere - in Grandma Kuhnhein's arms, on the bed or the sofa. My favorite position is "I Surrender", just like the last picture. My eyes are getting heavy...I better go...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Uncle Scott & Aunt Kelly's Wedding

Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelly got married last weekend and I was there! Unfortunately, I started crying as soon as Aunt Kelly walked down the aisle and Granny Hewett had to take me outside. Everything was beautiful, especially the bride, and daddy looked so handsome as best man.

When Will It Slow Down?

This week has been a tiring one. I went to the doctor on Monday for my 2 month check-up. I have really been growing. I now weigh 10 lbs 13 oz, which is in the 50% percentile and 3 pounds more than when I was born. I am 23 1/4 inches (80%) and my head is 15 3/4 inches (75%). I also got 4 shots, needless to say I cried and have been a little crabby this week. On Wednesday I went to the portrait studio and had my pictures taken. It sure was fun. I love the camera! Mommy is going to try to post some of the pictures later, so keep an eye out for them. Mommy's birthday was yesterday and she went to the spa. I got to spend time with Erica and then Grandpa when she went out to dinner with Aunt Kelly who is getting ready for her wedding Saturday. Finally, I just wanted to say thanks to Granny Hewett for my warm-up suit. Don't I look cute? Just like the jacket says...

I Have Discovered My Playmat

Now that I am two months old I like to play and interact more. I get to do a lot of that on my playmat. I like to watch the big star that lights up and plays music - it almost puts me in a trance. I even try to reach out for things that hang down. Of course I really like it when daddy makes voices for all the characters, especially Pooty Bird!

Girls Day!

All the girls got together for a bridal tea for Aunt Kelly and left me with daddy, uncle Scott and grandpa. I did get to spend a little time with Aunt Kelly and her niece Ally who loved patting my back. She has a lot of experience with baby dolls! I also wore the outfit Uncle Jack and Aunt Joy got me for the 4th of July. I'm an All-American baby!

A Swing of My Own

I loved Noah's swing so much that mommy and daddy got me one of my own. Grandpa and daddy put it together for me since I hadn't slept all day and it was getting late. Unfortunately, it wasn't the magic bullet they hoped it would be. Guess I was just excited from the holiday weekend and couldn't go to sleep!

4th of July Goes Bust

My first Fourth of July - all dressed up and no where to go. I had a really cute outfit but it rained all morning so I couldn't go to the parade and decided to nap with mommy instead. I did discover that I love Noah's swing and the only fireworks I saw were on TV. At least we were a patriotic family!

Mr. Ben Comes to Town

The holiday weekend got started early on Wednesday when Jeff, Erica and Ben came by to visit. It was my first time meeting them and you can see I was a little uncertain of Mr. Ben. He didn't seem that interested in me - he preferred mommy's cell phone. Jeff took a minute to hold me in between blackberry emails. I think seeing me might have given Erica the baby fever again, but with a face like mine - who can blame her?
