Just Hanging Around

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week, mommy was traveling a lot for work and wasn't able to help me. I have also been making her and daddy very tired by staying up and not going to bed when I am supposed to! Granny Hewett stayed with me one night and Grandma & Grandpa Kuhnhein watched me lots, even on Sunday so mommy and daddy could go to the Bengals game with Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelly. We all wore our orange and black, but it didn't seem to help. I guess it is going to be a long season!

Making Raspberries...Kinda

Here is a video of me making raspberries - they aren't my best but I will continue practicing and get back to you. I have started copying other people when they do it - interaction is very exciting!

I'm Four Months Old

I am four months old so that means new pictures and a visit to the doctor. You can see that my pictures turned out pretty well. The doctor's visit wasn't so bad either besides all the shots! I weighed 12 lbs 15 oz and was 24 3/4 inches long. I am interacting more with everyone. I really enjoy making raspberries with my lips and tongue. I am also very good at grabbing things, including my feet.

Thanks to My Cousins!

I wanted to say thank you to all my cousins for helping to take care of me last weekend. I appreciated all the hugs, kisses and gifts (thanks for the cute shoes Morgan & McKenzie)! I was glad to meet everyone and I look forward to seeing you again at Christmas. I will be bigger then and even more excited to "play" together!

Eating My First Solids

It is hard to believe I am four months old and that means I get to try my first solid food!
The doctor said I can start with rice cereal and if that goes well I can try new things like fruits and vegetables. As you can see by the pictures I am already trying to feed myself. Bon Appetit!

Could I Be Spolied?

Here are some more pictures from my trip to Tennessee - as you can see - Granny went a little overboard...She did promise me a pony before I was born and it looks like she has already delievered! There was the pretend pony, then later in the day, a real one! She even got me my first cabbage patch kid. Can you tell which one is the real doll? I really enjoyed meeting my Hewett cousins since our mommies are only a little over two weeks apart in age. I hope I end up as cute as them!

Family Visit

I went to Tennessee this weekend and met LOTS of family. There was my Hewett family - Great Aunt Mary, mommy's first cousin Molly and her daughters - Gracie and Ansley, then there was most of the Childs family. Everybody came to Granny and Papa's house for a baby shower for cousin Simon (he lives in California and should be joining us in early December), Papa's 60th birthday and the annual Labor Day get together. It was fun because everyone wanted to see and hold me. I get definitely get used to that! I also got to celebrate Grandparents Day with both sets of grandparents since I had breakfast in Tennessee with Granny and Papa (at Cracker Barrel of course!) and dinner in Kentucky with Grandma and Grandpa Kuhnhein. It was nice to be with both of them on their very first Grandparents Day!
