I am Nine Months Old!

I am 9 months old now. I got my pictures taken and I think I have figured this camera thing out. Everyone gets very excited when I smile and make cute faces when it flashes. I also went to the doctor. I am 18 pounds and 5 ounces (45th percentile) and 27 1/2 inches (50th percentile) . It is hard to believe that it has almost been a year since I was born!

Whip It!

Since I get to eat more solid foods Aunt Kelly suggested that I try whipped cream. I think it was more fun to play with that eat. Mommy even let me get my hands dirty for five minutes before wiping them off! I think that might be a record.

Winter Activities

February always brings snow, the Super Bowl and Centre's Rush. I have already experienced snow but I took part in my first Super Bowl, which unfortunately the Steelers won, and my first sorority Rush. I wasn't that interested in the game so I just played by myself. I also got to visit the Tridelts at Centre (see me holding the delta!) and they thought I was so cute that they guaranteed me a spot in the pledge class of 2027. Mommy helped with the philanthropy night party and I got to spend time with Granny. I can't wait to see what the rest of the month brings!

Dance to the Music

My daycare center had a muscial event with Mr. David. He played his keyboard and sang songs. Daddy and Mommy came to sing and dance with me. My teachers Miss Kecia and Miss Becky helped lead the group. It was great to see everybody and their families, in addition to practicing my dance moves!

Snow Baby

I finally got my first BIG snow. It was so bad that mommy and daddy worked from home, so we got to play outside in the snow for a little while. I am glad Granny and Papa gave me a big snowsuit so I could stay warm while playing in the snow. Although it was fun, I think I am ready for Spring!

The Principal's Office

Mommy and I visited her old school on Friday and I had to go to the Principal's Office. Although I tried to look cute when I was sitting there, I was very nervous. Mr.Robinson took it easy on me, this time. I even had him making silly faces when it was all said and done. I definitely don't want to go to the Principal's Office again!

If You're Happy and You Know It

My latest trick is clapping and waving. I like to play pattycake so I start to clap whenever anyone sings the song. I have just started waving and usually do it when others wave at me. Unfortunately, I don't usually do it when mommy and daddy try to show others...
